Now the Northwest Passage through the Arctic is navigable because of hitherto unknown rates of ice-shrinkage. It suggests that global warming is proceeding at rates faster than predicted. O humans! You were warned and you paid no heed.

I see that the gorillas and orangutans are moving closer to extinction. The only thing that could save them would be a form of world governance. From now on I hold any politician who fails to work towards the ends of establishing global governance and the rescue of the great apes as personally responsible for their deaths. And I am personally ready to take up arms if I thought it might save them. I would commit cannibalism if I thought it would save these creatures from an unjust, cruel and evil doom.

It would be better if all humans disappeared.

Today is the tenth anniversary of a move that changed my life, a choice that rewrote my mind, expanded my vision. It shall be a decade long remembered, at least by me: the next decade owes everything to my shift to England. God save the Queen.

It’s been a slow neocratic summer, a summer of utter nothingness. It seems our laxity has had cosmic repercussions. We are very sorry.

The Pixar film Ratatouille is a lush, detailed portrait of Parisian rodent gastronomy, and I commend it to the house.

A parliament rises for its recess, it sits for a new session. Today the Neocrats sit: let the word go out from here, from this placeless place: the Neocrats are back.

It is an imperfect return: Sarmad has gone AWOL and Hoolooshbok never showed up. Yet, some of us are here and things are moving, they are the fingers, very fast over keyboards.

This fresh off the BBC World Service: “vegansexuals” are vegans who forebear from sexual relations with anyone save other vegans! Vegansexuals assert this to be a genuine form of orientation, that not only is it a preference but that there is a physical attraction to other vegans, and a revulsion to non-vegans. Moreover, allegedly vegans can even “taste” the carnivorous barbarity from any non-vegan partners. What do we make of this?
