Loading ...I just had a quick thought about the unity of the world. People have sometimes said that if only some evil aliens would invade the planet, surely then we would unite to fight the common enemy.
I do not think so, my friends.
We already have an evil alien enemy to fight. It may not have green skin and hail from the wrong side of the cosmos, but it sure likes to blow us up. When I say “us”, I mean everyone, from Iraqi to Yankee. It is suicidal, nihilistic, mad dog terrorism, and it feels pretty alien to me. And you know what? We still ain’t unified.
We need something bigger.

The trouble is that a large amount of the population tends to rally to the alien-terrorists cause… not necessarily agreeing with the methods, but most definitely with the message… which forces us to look to the root of their anger, and take it from there. injustice. global domination. greed.
