Having just been sworn in by the conclave, I feel a little tentative to dive in. Prompted by voicings of the conservative little watchdog on my shoulder (whom we shall call Watchy the ever-vigilant Shoulder Watchdog), I feel like a college newbie, reminded to “Keep a low profile;â€? “Play it cool;” “Don’t walk into that pelvis-high bike post this time,” and so on.
Inspired by Watchy’s ever so thoughtful counsel, I ponder the content of my first humble posting - and by humble I purpose a docile and non-obtrusive piece, possibly something to do with Australia’s fine weather or the superb layout of this site. It is at precisely this passive moment that Saleem reels in the white smoke comment and calls for trial by fire.Â
So it is not by my own volition that I lay aside the meek newbie and, after clearing my respiratory tract of carbon monoxide and other smoke-related irritation with a thunderous cough, I crack my fingers and throw myself without hindrance into the fires that be. Bring it on. I look forward to the days, months and years ahead, as long as this neocracy shall last.
On an unrelated note and for nothing but entertainment gratis, I should let you know that Mrs. Cola is currently holding a booklamp to her right ear in the hope of drawing out a little flying creature that chose to call her eardrum home. Do not we all, after all, seek an ear upon which to gently land something of our tired selves? And dare I say, do not [these] Neocrats?
The weather here is fine.
The layout of this site is superb.
Peaceful greetings and may this be beautiful.

Excellent, a confident first run and certainly confident enough to already introduce a new jiin-like character, this impish and troublesome Watchy. Yes, in most circles the impish mischief-maker would be the radical prompting us to daring positions and statements; but on the Neocrats, the troublesome ones are those who would advocate restraint.
We say no, and I declare neocratic (i.e. holy) war on Watchy. Mandel Cola is our latest soldier.
