Weblogs were originally a few nerds compiling their best bits of the web for wider consumption. We’ve had the few nerds bit pretty much down pat on the neocrats, but have been generating more of our own stuff than highlighting others’ works. Perhaps its the heat of this northern summer, perhaps its brain-fug, but we’ve become more of a traditional weblog these past days. In that happy tradition, i’ve recently become obsessed with Lynne & Tessa’s music video miming. Its all pretty good, but Barbie Girl is their meisterwerk.
Sal and I are thinking of launching our own video responses to Lynne & Tessa’s oeuvre, in the form of our miming to some more low key classics - Radiohead’s Creep, Everybody Hurts etc. Is there a market out there?

Wow, way to shred my reputation. For the record, people, I am NOT thinking of starring in any bizarre, dandy recreations of music videos with Mogogo - not Radiohead, not REM, not ever.
