Two truths for the day.

Number 1: the arch-consumer is like the arch-fornicator; that which he lusted after and yearned for, once conquered or bought, he hates. Truth number 2: if a Paki or Paki-variant studies biology, it means that their parents wanted them to be a doctor, but they were not good enough.

Bonus truth number 3: racist epithets are welcome on the Neocrats because we use them to highlight the pointlessness of racial division. The unity of all peoples is a core neocratic tenet.

  1. Original Sin says:

#1: Not strictly true, for instance: I love my monitors.
#2: Replace Paki with brown, far less of a racial slur + covers a bigger area, yet retains the validitiy of the claim.
#3: Slur isn’t cool, no matter how ironic a sense it is used, it’s bound to be misunderstood. Are you listening, Sam?

  2. Sanisha says:

as an antithsis, to your truths , today, i must say :

    >1. if it were true, being a consumer and consumating somthing, like a marriage, is different , because, it just is.one is an ends, the other is a means to an end, maybe ,

    but definitly:

    >2. for my brown bretheren every where:My Parents never wanted me to have be a MD,Eng ,or have an LLB but i think its only because they are open minded enough to value education- all kinds, but you do have a point:If i think
about, my dad, who was expected to become dentist, but did not, instead, while livin in London in the 70’s studied computing, and met Bahais’, and things changed. If he had not i may have been studying biology now, and if he had stayed there ,well , i may even have known some of you and God forbid, we may even have been friends. hahaha. not.

    >3. for once i agree with the intelligence of Original Sin

  3. Original Sin says:

So we are to blame your father for your complete disrespect for the comma?

  4. Sanisha says:

no, actually it was Kundera, in my estimation, of what he means by the lightness in the ‘Unbearable..’ is this idea that this is it, we have one life , never to return ,fleeting, just one chance to live and love and so, we attach a weight to certain things, giving it a heaviness, and for me :
the comma is not one of those things .

  5. Original Sin says:

In once sentance, you manage to write it *three* different ways, are you doing it on purpose?

Perhaps commas don’t mean much to you, but they hinder clear communication, surely *that* isn’t too heavy for you.

  6. Sanisha says:

(I hope less people are reading)because Sina > I would like to say this to you:

my ideas are limited so here are some of Nietzche’s words
“And just as every porter wants to have an admirer, so even the proudest of men, the philosopher, supposes that he sees on all sides the eyes of the universe telescopically focused upon his action and thought.”

now, take out ‘philosopher’ and replace it with (me) and take ‘universe’ and replace it with (Sina) and that sentence would be true, in this case, because no one else makes a fuss about my sentence structure, but extend this idea to everything else here , and then maybe then you can see how from my point of view , how absurd that is to believe! For me to suppose that whatever i say is being read by others , and in this way, would be so vain as to assume that same attitude , which despite my ‘drama queen’ antics sometimes , i am not!theres is only one friend, that I know does read whatever i say, carefully and thoughtfully.

So i hope this you get what i am trying to say, on all levels, and I hope this is the last time i have to pause and adress the comma issue, i refuse to believe you are the blundering elephant so please don’t presume that you know anything else about me or some absurdities which I cannot explain either, and i will not assume i know you either, except:

that your sentence above , if read correctly, is incongruent thus making your statement about clarity all the more ironic …? lets not dissect each other ok, its not funny all the time, and i think our time and energy can better be spent getting the details of the train robbers , as Hannibal said earlier.

  7. Saleem says:

A brilliant rejoinder from Sanisha! Will Original Sin reply?

  8. Sanisha says:

hey Saleem, thanks, i would not call that brilliant but i hope that is the reason for his silence, i am however going to pretend i did not hear him say ‘bee yatch’ up there somwhere,,,.that would really set off some brilliance if it was in any way directed at me.

    haha

by the way the quote was from what i am readin now , by Nietzche., which is quite rivetting :

    http://www.publicappeal.org/library/nietzsche/Nietzsche_various/on_truth_and_lies.htm

On Truth and Lies in a Non Moral Sense. (1873)

I am on paragraph 4 so it has not got to morality yet, so what i said today may be total bollocks and may change tomorow. maybe, i think.
