According to Canada’s National Post - click here - the Islamic Republic of Iran has passed a law that will require religious minorities to wear a badge broadcasting their faith. It has only to be ratified by the supreme leader, Khameini, before coming into force. This happened once before: a populist leader of a country that felt slighted by the world, with an aggressive military programme, plastered badges over their Jews and gypsies and homosexuals. If I remember correctly, it was a bad beginning to a bad story.

(The story would have been better if you’d only alluded to the Kalimis, instead of just spelling it out.)
Also, it’s noteworthy to, ahrem, note, that the Baha’i and the Judaic logos are quite similar, so the situation is ripe for comparison and ridicule. Of the bearded ones, that is.
Not the Hasidic beareded ones though. That’s for another post.
